Logline:

Vanessa goes out to find the perfect flowers for her best friend’s wedding. However, set in a future where looking perfect is more important than looking around their polluted planet, she mistakenly brings Marilyn real flowers. Ruining their friendship and opening up Vanessa’s eyes to how self obsessed we instead of realizing that we are hurting those around us, as well as the earth we live on.

Responsibilities:

I had to design and execute a dressing room, a flower shop and alleyways for the locations. Originally only the interior of the shop was going to be built but due to some time and location issues I was asked to build the dressing room as well. I realized that we were in a bind due to a production error and negotiated that for the extra workload we would need one more day and more money. Once that was approved we managed to build two complicated interiors in a week and a day. 

I was in charge of finding my crew, budgeting, picking up our materials, helping source furniture, etc. I drafted 2D and 3D technical renderings of both of the sets as well as created concept art for the film. I helped each department at some point, whether it was reupholstering the couch for set dec or designing and 3D printing some earbud designs to be able to add another piece of futuristic technology in a low budget film.
